I've received a lot of messages from people worried about the cancelation notices. Thank you, thank you for reaching out to us and showing your support. I can't even tell you how much that means to us.
Here's the run-down:
We had all of our books in Pronoun and it went down. It was a lovely place for us to upload our books and send it out to everyone. We were able to get to Amazon--with long-lead pre-orders--and Barnes & Nobel, and iTunes, and whatever it is that Google's doing, and Kobo, and the libraries, and all the other bookstores. The terms were great. The royalties were amazing!
And then they shut down. I have a few guesses as to why and I'm rather upset by the entire ordeal. But we had to cancel our pre-orders and we're scrambling to get them back up.
We're also focusing to ensure we don't have another "sending out the wrong version of the pre-order" issue because that was a fiasco. Every other bookstore was able to send out the right version, but Amazon struggled to do that. It took me two weeks to fix that and I'm still getting emails from readers who have the wrong version.
So, things appear as though we're standing still. We're really not! You'll have new order links very soon. I promise.
In the meantime, we do have Lizard Wizard coming out on Monday, and we've got the audiobook boxset coming...in a few weeks. I've just to finish reviewing it and get it finalized.
